  • Arranging for an official beer party without frosty glasses! Guys you aren’t serving a modest drink. The easy way is to dip the glasses in water and put it inside the freezer for an hour. You’re glass is now ready.

  • Are you aware when to crush the ice, blend the ice or make it slushy? If you want to blend break the ice cubes before putting it in the blender. It will save the blender from wear and tear. For a slushy drink break the ice before your guest arrive.

  • Before mixing the ingredients in a shaker always put ice in it. The liquid gets chilled while pouring.

  • For a sugar-frosted glass, moisten the rim of a pre-chilled glass with lime or lemon and dip it into sugar powder.

  • Now let’s check salting a glass. Rub a piece of lime or lemon around the rim of the glass. Take a shallow tray filled with salt about 1 cm and dip gently the rim of the glass. Gently move the glass from side to side, this will allow the salt to stick on the citrus juice.

  • Stir clear liquid drinks. Stir gently a carbonated drink. Shake drinks that are heavy to mix like juice, eggs or cream.

  • To blend an egg in the drink, add an ice cube.

  • Soak oranges and lemons in warm water to extract more juice.

  • Rub a piece of wax paper on the bottle rim to avoid dripping.

How to handle the preparation of different recipes?

  • If you are a beginner always use a measure while making cocktails. Thus you can ensure the reliability of the recipe.

  • Make use of fresh fruits and juices it will add to the taste.

  • For quality cocktail use quality ingredients.

  • Always garnish the drinks to retain a pleasant flavor. You can either squeeze the wedge of a fruit. You may also wipe the rim of the glass with some juice and then dip the glass into a garnish like sugar (Daiquiri’s), salt(Margarita’s) or some coco powder (Chocolate Martini’s)

  • Before making a chilled drink keep the glasses inside the freezer. Or else add soda water and ice cubes into the glass.

  • Always fill the glass with ice. Thus the drink will be chilled and the drink will dilute slowly.
