Drink it right!

Beer

Be a beer connoisseur and get the most out of your drinking experience? Here it is –

  • Drink beer from beer glasses or steins as it improves the taste and aroma of beer.
  • Botched in pouring beer? It’s high time that you become a connoisseur at pouring beer to make a fine head. Carefully incline the stein to 45 degrees and pour the beer leisurely about halfway down. Subsequently hold the glass straight and pour the rest of it.
  • Try to impress your colleagues or friends while serving their desired drinks on the table. Learn the pouring style of different types of beer:
Ales- While pouring make sure, that the head should measure nearly a finger width. If it’s too much, ale’s characteristic bitter is lost.
Hefeweizen- It has strong foaming and if you’re not watchful its head might creep on you. That means pour it gently without straightening the glass.
Stouts- After pouring till half of the glass, allow the beer to settle. Then only finish the rest.
Pilsners- It doesn’t require any tricky rules. Pour the beer directly into the vertical glass and you’re done with a strong head of pilsner. The head should majestically cover the rim of the glass.
  • Without head the beer loses its aromatic flavors. So next time, make sure that the head covers almost 1.5 inches of the stein.
  • Stop pouring any other drink in your beer glass, since the appearance and taste will get mixed and give you a tasteless drink the next time you pour beer.
  • Don’t serve beer in frosted glasses, as too much of cooling can affect beer’s flavor and numb your taste buds.
  • Drink beer from a stubby directly, don’t empty it in a glass.
  • Beer poured from a tap must be drunk in the largest glass, like pot to be superseded by pint and pint to be superseded by a stein.

  • Folks Tequila is always served at room temperature.
  • “Caballito” glasses are a sign of status for Tequila to be served in.
  • Before you get mixed in cultured Tequila shots learn it. In native Mexico, tequila is sipped with sangrita. While in European countries such as Germany, Tequila is preferred with cinnamon seasoning and orange slices chaser. Reposado and Blanco must be served with sangrita made of orange juice and tomato with some salt and chili.

We recommend you to drink less but not drive.

In India, if your body holds a blood alcohol concentration above 0.30%, then it is a punishable offence and you can land yourself behind bars & pay a hefty penalty. If translated this means you could have just one drink and drive if you live in India, but best not to take that chance as your blood alcohol concentration depends on your weight, gender, and well, overall on your ability to absorb alcohol.
